From site walk to estimate — before you leave
Site Walk Recorder is live inside BuildOs Pro. Capture the walk with continuous mic + camera, tape the room, or on a LiDAR iPhone tap Scan this room. Review AI scope, generate the draft, and email a preliminary estimate while the client is still with you.
What you get
- Open the job in BuildOs Pro → Start Site Walk (consent + continuous recording)
- Talk measures, materials, and damage; snap up to 20 photos without stopping the mic
- On iPhone Pro 12+ (LiDAR) in the BuildOs Pro app: Scan this room fills floor SF, height, and walls — not cabinets, counters, or shower. Android / Safari: Tape or voice
- If the signal drops after the walk has started, voice, photos, and the scan stay on the phone and send when it returns
- On day one the crew opens What we sold: the finished walk, exclusions, measures, and photos
- Review structured scope lines → Insert into the Estimate Wizard
- Generate the itemized draft and email a preliminary estimate before you leave
- Optionally pull client email threads with SmartMail for alignment
